GUASCH BEHAVIOURAL CODE OF ETHICS
At Guasch, we pay careful attention to our products, during their entire life cycle (design, production, distribution), to ensure that they are not harmful to individuals and do not adversely affect the environment.

Therefore, Guasch Hermanos, S.L. only works with enterprises, retailers and suppliers who fully share our behavioural code of ethics and who satisfy or surpass the standards established by laws and local regulations regarding employees rights and employment conditions including, but not limited to, those concerning age, working hours, minimum wages, over-time, punctual payment of salaries, rest days, holidays and social security benefits.

Dear Supplier,
Guasch Hermanos, S.L. always pay very careful attention to its products, during their entire life cycle ( design, production, distribution), to ensure that they are not harmful to individuals and do not adversely affect the environment.

For this reason, Guasch Hermanos, S.L. only works with enterprises, retailers and suppliers who fully share our behavioural code of ethics and who satisfy or surpass the standards established by laws and local regulations regarding employees rights and employment conditions including, but not limited to, those concerning age, working hours, minimum wages, over-time, punctual payment of salaries, rest days, holidays and social security benefits.

In addition, Guasch Hermanos, S.L. only works with enterprises, retailers and suppliers who, by the strict application of standards and modes of behaviour, ensure that none of the following occur either in-house and/or at any third party suppliers/subcontractors:

a) Discrimination on the basis of age, gender, political or religious belief, sexual orientation, membership of trade union or other associations;
b) Any type of harassment ( including sexual harassment) towards the other employees;
c) Failure to maintain acceptable working conditions and health & safety standards;
d) Failure to adequately protect employees against the use of any harmful material or substances which can adversely affect the health of employees or damage the environment;
e) Failure to pay employees a salary in line with the minimum wage pursuant to local laws and applicable contracts;
f) Failure to allow employees to enjoy at least one full day’s rest per working week, or longer period if specified by local laws and applicable regulations;
g) Failure to pay employees for the time worked in excess of eight hours per day ( or in excess of the maximum number of hours per day allowed for by current local laws and agreements made, if different);
h) Obliging employees to work for a number of hours per day which exceeds the provisions of the local laws and agreements;
i) Employment of any person under age of 15, or under any age which interferes with compulsory educational requirements, or below the minimum age specified by law, no matter how much younger;
j) Using forced, non-voluntary labour, or labour bound in any manner, or using work by prisoners;
k) Withholding unjust amounts from employees salaries;
l) Subjecting employees to physical punishment or any other humiliating treatment;
m) Not providing adequate meals to employees – if this service is planned;
n) Not providing employees and/or their families with adequate accommodation – if this service is planned;

We are sure that you will agree fully with the above-mentioned behavioural code of ethics and we kindly ask for your confirmation by returning a signed copy of this document.
